Talibon came alive with rhythm and color last April 21, 2025, as the municipality proudly opened its Foundation Day Celebration with a grand parade and the much-anticipated Drum and Lyre Competition! The streets were filled with excitement, music, and cheering as four distinguished schools showcased their talent, discipline, and school spirit. The participating schools were: Ponciana E. Leoligao High School San Isidro High School Pres. Carlos P. Garcia Memorial High School San Jose National High School Each band brought their unique style and flair, thrilling the crowd with synchronized beats, vibrant uniforms, and dynamic performances. The energy was electrifying as these young performers demonstrated their countless hours of practice and unshakable school pride. After a breathtaking showdown, San Jose National High School emerged as the Grand Slam Champion, continuing their legacy of excellence and musical mastery. Their performance captivated the judges and the audience alike, earning them the highest honor in this year’s competition. The awarding ceremony was a proud moment for all participants, with trophies, certificates, and heartfelt cheers recognizing the passion and hard work of every team.
